I was born and raised in Bethania. My mother retired after 28 years as the Pastor’s secretary at Home Moravian Church. My father retired as a machinist, after 34 years at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco (Reynolds American).
After graduating from North Forsyth High School, I graduated with Honors in Business Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill, and with Honors from the UNC School of Law, in Chapel Hill NC.
My lovely wife of 26 years is a clinical pharmacist at Baptist Hospital (Wake Medical) in Peds ICU and neonates. She rounds on the sickest of our little ones.
I have a beautiful 18 year old daughter and a brilliant 21 year old son. My family is my life.
We are active in our Church. Faith guides me in all things.
I have regularly volunteered in the community. I have served as the Bethania Town Attorney, a Scout leader, a soccer coach, a Board Member on the Forsyth County Board of Elections, a member of The Child Fatality Prevention Team and am currently the Vice Chair of the NC Well Contractors Certification Commission.
